The DJ Firm x Trulli
The Float System
Battery-Powered DJ Booth, Monitors, and Bass50 Coverage
The Challenge
A parade float is not a normal stage. It moves, turns, vibrates, and presents from every angle. It also has visual priorities, load limits, and safety constraints. In this case, the float also had to support a featured DJ performance tied to a major public event lineup.
The Solution
This build used Bass50 as the low-end backbone and paired it with small battery tops for clarity and projection. The likely logic of the package was: double-stacked Bass50 zones for primary float output, Bose S1 tops for compact battery-friendly upper-range coverage, single Bass50 plus EV Everse 12 zones for supplemental coverage or side-fill style positions, a booth monitor for DJ confidence and cueing, and all-battery power so the float stayed free of generator noise and fuel logistics.
The Result
The float stayed self-contained and musically credible. It supported performance, guest interaction, and visual presentation without turning into a rolling power-distribution problem.
