The DJ Firm x Trulli
Rolling Crowd Systems
Bringing the Sound off the Float and Closer to the People
Executive Summary
Four Mobile Sound Positions
tracked the float, so coverage stayed close to the spectators.
The Moving Outer Positions Mattered Most
at the intersections where curb depth expanded.
The Crowd Heard Music at the Edge of the Route
instead of only from the center lane.
The Challenge
The official route is visually wide, and intersections make the audience feel even farther from the moving float. A normal float system gets smaller as it moves away. This design tried to prevent that.
The Solution
The rolling systems took the live DJ program from the float and carried it down the route at crowd level. The positions of the four mobile systems tracked the float so coverage stayed close to spectators rather than centering only on the vehicle.
The Result
The audience heard the music where they stood, not only where the float passed, allowing them a more intimate connection to the music regardless of distance from the float.
